ID.3 je veľmi svižné auto. 204 koní a 310 Nm dostupných okamžite znamená veľmi dobrú akceleráciu a vďaka zadnému pohonu pôsobí pri jazde príjemne a stabilne. Menšia 58 kWh batéria je zároveň zaujímavá tým, že oproti 77 kWh verzii zbytočne nepridáva hmotnosť. Pri reálnom používaní auto má približne 250–350 km dojazdu, pričom v meste a pri pokojnej jazde môže byť viac a v zime alebo na diaľnici menej. Nejde teda o auto primárne na dlhé diaľničné presuny, ale ako mestské/medzimestské auto je 58 kWh verzia veľmi dobrý kompromis. Auto sa predáva plne prihlasené na slovenských číslach.
